Two swinging guys who enjoy many things, and can do them all the time! on Flickr.

Just two wild and crazy guys at a swing party. Despite appearances, they were actually having a grand old time. Trajan’s mate Tycho is part of our exclusive club of toddlers named for significant but not particularly well known figures in history. Their good friend Linnaeus wasn’t along on this day.

You’ve got to check when you find a boot or shoe near the waterfront in Vancouver, we’ve got a long history of errant feet washing up on shore.
This one was empty which gives rise to some interesting questions that, having never lost one shoe in a park or elsewhere, I don’t feel qualified to answer.

This guy was late to the florist’s this evening and pickings were very slim. He left empty handed to meet his fate with an admirable stoicism.
Hope you all had a happy Valentine’s Day. The Hallmark people will be glad to hear you did.

Finally, someone has the balls to build some exclusive residential units in Coal Harbour! 27 of them! In a tiny tower, sandwiched between two other tiny towers! No podium for these kids, no way.
Hopefully they get this one right, the neighbourhood is already littered with exclusive residential units so unpalatable that nobody lives in them.
This project has been sitting on the back burner for at least 5 years but, the sign went up today. Pretty much the last nondescript three story office building in the hood is getting torn down to make way for a 12 story tower across the street.
Sure am glad I live on the 29th story although it has been nice living without any construction noise for the last couple years.
However, with Vancouver real estate having fallen to or below the popularity level of herpes in the last year or so, I predict this sign will be hanging across the street for quite some time.

Trajan was just settling down for his last sleep in captivity. My, how the time flies, his 118 days in the NICU now positively dwarfed by his 730 days on the outside.

More caffeine than silver was consumed but, still, a lovely Sunday morning.
